Arch + Open Box on Aspire One

This post is pretty much a reference for myself, but it could be very useful to the passerby that is interested in putting Arch Linux and Open Box on their netbook.

The end result will be what I like to call my Uber Geekbook. The needs I'm trying to fill:

1. Fast bootup. I use my netbook all the time and I want it to book up in the time it takes me to set my coffee down and take off my sweater (about 10 seconds).

2. With a 1.6 mhz cpu and 1G of ram, I need all of the apps running on my netbook to be lightweight and efficient. I'm going to stream music, browse the internet, open a pdf, and type a doc at the same time, and it will seize this guy with traditional apps.

Ok, onward...

Here is the netbook in question.
